Now this famous athletics hall has been completed and the stars are training again on a stunning, high-performance floor, designed to create the perfect training environment.

17 years ago, a CONICA partner installed a CONIPUR M flooring system and ever since that floor has kept its promise – high performance and outstanding durability.  However, the time had arrived for the floor to be replaced.  Despite very high use, due to numerous competitions and intensive training sessions, the main structure of the CONIPUR M system remained in excellent condition, which has enabled the stadium management team to select a CONIPUR M Retopping solution to refurbish the hall floor.  This type of restoration represents a very ecological and cost effective solution, as the original track system remains as a basis, with only the upper wear layer, consisting of the polyurethane coating and the EPDM granules, requiring renewal.
